Indian national charged as man behind LaGuardia Airport security breach

A hapless rookie security guard watched an equally clueless Indian national wander into an off-limits area in LaGuardia Airport, a video obtained by the Daily News showed.

Phani Kumar Varanasi, 41, was arrested Thursday, two days after the Tuesday security breach on a charge of criminal trespass after surrendering to Port Authority cops at the Queens airport, police said.

VIDEO: Surveillance video released of suspects accused in stabbing of San Jose State football player

SAN JOSE (KRON) — San Jose police have released surveillance video of the two suspects accused in the stabbing of a San Jose State football player early Sunday morning.

One suspect is accused of brandishing a weapon, and the other suspect is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon. The stabbing happened around 1 a.m. in the area of Post Street and South First Street, police said.

Video: Surveillance of man wanted for questioning in Florida Mall deadly shooting, stabbing

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Surveillance video and a picture have been released Thursday in hopes of finding a person of interest who may know something about a deadly shooting and stabbing near the Florida Mall.

Dale Eric Floren, 56, was found April 14 around 10 p.m. in the parking lot area on the mall property, where construction material was stored for work being done at the Florida Mall.

Vancouver business surveillance video catches suspected burglars

According to Vancouver police, the burglary took place on May 20. The suspects are described as men in their 20s or 30s.

The owner of Advance Lighting said the two suspects were captured on his Ring security system. The video shows two suspects walking close to the camera, then disappearing out of frame. The video captures the two suspects again, leaving the frame with papers and what appears to be an industrial blower.

Indianapolis police to start surveillance camera program

Police in Indianapolis are looking to a Detroit surveillance camera program to help fight crime.

WRTV-TV reports that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is expected to begin the first phase of its Project Green Light next month.

It allows owners and operators of businesses, organizations and apartment complexes to wire their surveillance cameras into the police department. Officers monitoring the surveillance feeds then are able to see what’s going on at the locations in real time.
