I've been asked what I think about the President's recent admission of a moral wrong. In regards to what he did, may I remind everyone that he is indeed human. I feel for his wife and daughter. This has got to be one of the most difficult times of their lives. I'd like to see the press get over this so the American people can.
In regards to his lies more than six months ago , may I remind everyone that a man is only as good as his word. The Lord long ago said that if you can't trust a man in small matters, how can you trust him is big matters?
Our leaders should uphold the laws that the rest of us are subject to. This brings us to the real issue here: purjury, not sex. Double standards are very popular in undemocratic countries where the leadership are corrupt and above the law. There should be no double standards in the United States.
I've also been asked what I think about Starr and his investigation. Well, I think the facts are clear in this regard. It was not Kenneth Starr who drug this investigation out for 7 months, it was the man under investigation who chose to lie to the Paula Jones Court and eye-to-eye with the American people.
If Congress does not elect to impeach our injured President, so be it. All of our leaders were appointed by God, so rest assure that they will have to answer to the good Lord for their actions, or lack of action. If they choose not to impeach him, then I hope they will continue to work with him for the betterment of the nation.
