Let us pause for a moment and say Thank You to the 1,359,114 American soldiers, airmen, Marines, and shipmen who perished and the 1,419,971 who were wounded for the cause of freedom, the security of this most sovereign nation, and the American way of life. They are the reason why this nation has enjoyed such greatness and why all Americans remain free, excluding our MIAs.
Please remember these fallen and lost comrades when you are asked to believe that it is in our best interest to forgo our sovereignty so others abroad may freely reap the rewards of American blood and guts.
No others but American citizens and the offspring of those who have perished for this great nation should inherit the plentiful bounty that this New World (The United States of America) affords. Americans fought and died for this country, to assure its sovereignty, to assure our freedoms; and Americans alone should benefit from such a profound sacrifice as this.

| VETERANS DAY Veterans Day commenorates the fallen in all U.S. wars. Previously, it was called Armistice Day, which commemorated the signing of the armistice that ended WORLD WAR I on Nov. 11, 1918. In the United States it was proclaimed as an annual day of mourning by President Woodrow Wilson in 1919. The name was then changed to Veterans Day in 1954, honoring the fallen in all U.S. wars. |
