I was searching for a program Monday night when I happened across a program that had Janet Reno on. I do not know the name of the show but she was being interviewed about the use of force to take Elian away from his family.

The question was something like this: Do you feel that it was right to have agents with GUNS in the house to take Elian?

Janet Reno responded something like this: We had information that the family had weapons. We also had a group of protesters outside the house that could have had weapons. So we took the precaution of having armed agents enter the house to get the child. This is the how an operation looks when everything goes right.

My main concern is the last sentence. Does this mean that Ruby Ridge, Waco, and the deaths of many other innocent people at the hands of our government was because nothing went right?

I take this as an admission of things not going right. Also I think that this has been going on for a long time. Maybe someone else saw this interview and has a better recall than me. Just another red check next to her name in my book.
