Foreign Aid Or Foreign Charity?
12 September 2003

Al,
My question is, historically almost all or half of the 5 plus billion people that inhabit the earth are illiterate. This Includes us in America! Do you want to help the underprivileged to learn or let whatever comes? Because a percentage of high school students, as well as college and university students, were passed through the system without proven performance, and from what a scholar has revealed to me, as many as 37.5% students are Illiterate! If you do the math, that means 52% are in the retirement age bracket!

Look at you! Think. The rest are in college and, or in the trades! We have no balance at this time, at least according to the stats that were given to me. I think we should give to everyone that wants our help. What is your opinion?
CG

CG,

Good to hear from you. To answer your question about literacy, it certainly benefit the elitists who control our money and the policials of most countries if most of the civis on planet earth did not know how to read or write. Let's be honest, it's people like myself that these folks would rather not face. Take for example my U.S. Veteran Information web site at http://www.tpromo.com/usvi/. This web site receives more hits than any other web site I have ever designed and executed on the web! In fact, some folks in gov't positions have told me that forms are received from time to time, as well as letters of request, that are addressed to me--simply because the vets visited my site and thought I must be a working part of the VA or other orgs attached! I do not claim entire credit for USVI for I did have a lot of help from our overall team. But, the issue is, I have made some folks very unhappy because I stepped out, did the research, and then executed the material in an understandable way (so some claim).

The bottom line, writers, such as myself, are a liability to those elite who would have their way with mankind. Likewise, civis who can read and comprehend are problematic because they verbally tell others what they have come to learn and understand. I do not think it's an accident that my grandkids do not appear to be as smart as my own generation at their age (in the area of common sense, ethics, and morality).

Now, with that said, let me share with you my feelings about charity, foreign in particular. You and I and millions of other Americans work our tails off and we pay taxes based upon how hard we have worked. Charity is good and we should continue to provide charity where it is needed. However, what so many administrations and the Congress has done is to take our hard earned tax money and they used it to virtually blackmail other countries to into compliance with the will of... our government? This is why we are virtually the most hated nation on the face of the earth by the majority of world citizens on the planet.

A local homecenter store owner the other month commented to me that he has never seen business this bad, not at any time during his 40 years in business. I commented that we have WTO, GATT, NAFTA, and free trade in general to thank for it. He then said, "But Al, we have to help those poor thir world countries!" My reply was, "Tom, I have no problem with helping others, but no one ever told us our Grandkids would have to sacrifice their standard of living, their job prospects, in order for us to help everyone else."

It's like a jetliner... when it's going down and the cabin loses air pressure, you must first attend to your own oxygen mask before you can be assured enough consciousness and wherewithal to attend to the masks of your children... We must attend to "home matters" before we can be of any help to others. The reality of this is, the whole issue of free trade was not about humanitarian causes at all, but about a cheap labor pool. it was also about gutting the very industrial heart from this nation. After all, a national without hard industry is a second world nation. Plain and simple as that. A service-based economy constitutes a second world environment. If you look at it historically, only first world nations are industrial. We've never seen any nation stupid enough to allow all its hard industry to go off shore, so we probably never realized that by so doing we were signing our own death warrant... but we did.

I am not oppose to helping people learn how to read, but it does not take the loss of hard industry, nor does it take the expendature of billions in foreign aid in order for our gov't to blackmail others. As long as we continue to do this, not only to other nations, but to our very own states within this 50-state union, our federal gov't will not be popular... it will never have "true" and "sincere" friends.

I think George Washington said it best when he gave his fairwell speech. If you are interested, you can read it at http://www.tpromo.com/gk/files1/entangle.htm. He said to avoid foreign entanglements because it leads to corruption, jealousy, hatred, and all the things we see today. The man must have had a crystal ball, and some say that he did have a visitation of a metaphysical form. I believe it.

I do not conspire to cause harm to anyone nor to any portion of our gov't. I only seek to see America become stronger, more well liked, and more of a friend to other nations. We were never meant to be their nanny. We were never meant to earn their living for them. We were never meant to make their domestic decisions for their leaders. It's time that Americans understand that the New Order's plan was always to tear down the old order to initiate the new one. This they have done. They are well entrenched and they are now working to finalize their 100 year effort. America was the mid-term objective but total enslavement (whether socialistic or capitalistic) was their long-term goal.

Please forgive typos and misrepresentations as I have glided through this without proofing it. Chat later.
