![]() EDITORIALGreetings fellow travelers, and welcome to the post Christmas issue of Incoming Intel Report. Santa Claus was good to this writer, always providing me more than I really need. The hard fact is, none of us truly need more than one or two square meals a day, cloths to keep us warm (and out of trouble :-), and a roof to keep the rain and snow out of our hair (or what's left of it And, of course, I attended church the Sunday before Christmas so to pay my respects to God's Son, Jesus. All-righty-now, let us proceed with this week's issue of Incoming Intel Report. (For those who wish to skip the editorial, Click Here.) One other thing, for those who have not navigated Incoming Intel Report, every link in an issue will open up a new window, thus all you have to do to return to this page is to close each new window. Also, this publication is best viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Internet Regulation via UNIf you will recall, in last month's issue we carried a piece about the oncoming Internet grab, via a little known department within the United Nations (UN) called the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). I recall in the late 90s running across some documents on the Internet penned by an org like the ITU (may have been one and the same, I am not sure). Just as the author of last month's article suggested, it brought the hairs on my neck straight up to attention. In fact, this initial research project was located at http://194.70.69.3/TCProjects/ where data was being stored on a variety of issues related to the Internet (no longer there) in Europe and the developing "cybercommunity." For example, located at http://194.70.69.3/TCProjects/2166_13c.htm, research for a project entitled European Virtual Cities was contained. For a look at what was contained on that web page (typos and all), Click Here.
Most of us will not recall this, but in the early to mid 1980s, the United States dropped it's UNESCO membership because of an effort afoot to censor the press regarding international matters--especially when dealing with socialistic and communistic countries. Thus, the UN sought to curb such reporting by having news agencies filter their articles through them. Of course, that will never do since the largest contingency of nation states now members to the UN are, themselves, tyrannical governments. "Many Third World governments contend that Western journalists present distorted views of their countries and, with Soviet bloc support, secured (1980) a UNESCO resolution calling for a new world information order that would, while affirming the principle of freedom of the press, give UNESCO the right to regulate news organizations. The proposal provoked strong protest from Western nations, including the withdrawal from UNESCO of the United States (1983) and Britain (1984) at least in part over the issue of the proposed 'new world information order'" (The New Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, Release #6). What stinkers. One of the things that caught my eye concerning the ITU's efforts is the fact that they intend to bring on line a vast number of individuals from across Europe. The World Health Org, for example, intends to provide medical information by way of the Internet to people in impoverished areas across the world. Now, perhaps it's just me, but we're talking about people who, many of which do not have running water and electricity. Many of these folks do not have enough food to eat or cloths for their family members to keep warm or to remain covered. And yet, we're talking about providing these impoverished folks with the high-tech means whereby they can go on line for medical information. Something about this seems out of sorts to this writer. Another area that WHO intends to participate in is termed "e-government" by the ITU: " It will also supply e-government and e-learning project design and implementation." (Source: Click Here). From my readings, it appears that they intend to do this at the local and regional levels, providing the on-line tools for citizens to obtain community-provided services. "Now, more than ever, there is a critical need for governments to develop a policy framework for introducing e-government initiatives, including the creation of new strategies and legislation with the involvement of all stakeholders in society. E-government is justified if it enhances the capacity of public administration to increase the supply of public value i.e. things that people want. The transition to electronic delivery of services enables governments to better quantify cost effectiveness of electronic service delivery, and hence more effective use of limited resources and improves accountability. E-government strategies also can improve commerce, democracy and transparency. With this in mind, states need to assess the potential for investing in e-government initiatives with a view to improving the cost effectiveness of the use of their increasingly stretched resources." (Source: Click Here) Perhaps we all had better take a stronger look at the ITU, the UN, and what they have planned for our Internet. If my gut is right on this, if they have it their way, there will come a day when www.giantkillers.org will no longer have a place on the Internet. After all, there are absolutely no Americans in the top 10 or so positions of the UN, most of them being from developing countries. Just like UNESCO in the 1980s, it appears that the UN is continuing its effort to "regulate news organizations." If that day should ever come, you know we're all in deep trouble, here and abroad. In ClosingThere is one other item of interest that I would like to bring to your attention. Dr. Greg Dixon kindly consented to allowing Giant Killers Org to publish one of his many articles on the IRS and the Church, entitled PASTORS MUST BE ORDAINED BY THE IRS. Please be sure to read Dixon's piece in the full-length article section of Incoming Intel Report (below). Hopefully Dr. Dixon will allow GKO to publish more of his works in the months and years to come. If you will recall, Dr. Dixon is the minister of the Indiana Baptist Temple that was siezed by the Federal Government. To read GKO coverage of this serious incident against Jesus Christ's Church, visit the following: Or you can visit Dr. Dixon's web site: Click Here. Thank you,

| September 11 families defy plea not to sue airlines or agencies The families of scores of victims of the September 11 attacks yesterday snubbed a deadline to seek government compensation as they pressed on with multi-million pound civil lawsuits against airlines and federal agencies. Under the rules of the Sept 11 Victim Compensation Fund, the relatives of those killed could seek tax-free government awards, worth an average of £1 million, depending on the age, assets and earning history of the victim. Further compensation - ranging between £300 and £4.5 million - was available for those injured or left needing lifetime care after the attacks, and for those hurt in the rescue and clear-up operations that followed. | |
| America's controversial Christmas trees
For an overwhelmingly Christian country which prides itself on freedom of expression, removing "offensive" Christmas trees and censoring school Santas may seem curious. Santas are fine as long as they do not proselytise in schools But as far as American public institutions are concerned, it is not Christmas but the "holiday season". Any school, public library, university or government building which at this time of year crosses the constitutional boundary between church and state - be it simply through singing Silent Night or erecting a nativity scene on the lawn - risks being the target of a lawsuit.

| 'Jingle Bells' dispute jangles on
SAVANNAH, Ga. — Dashing in the sun, through oaks and Spanish moss / Sleigh riding's no fun, when there's no snow to cross ... . Could "Jingle Bells" really be a song of the South? It's not hard to see why balmy Savannah has a tough time selling the Christmas carol as a native creation. Or why the claim makes folks in Medford, Mass. — hometown of the song's composer — cry humbug.
| Gaddafi 'was not close to building bomb'
Libya was not close to building a nuclear weapon, said Mohamed ElBaradei, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) yesterday. Mohamed El Baradei and Libya's Foreign Minister Mohamed Abderrhmane Chalgam Mr ElBaradei flew into Libya with a team of inspectors keen to test Colonel Gaddafi's promise to be "fully transparent" about his nuclear programme. He confirmed that Libya had tried to enrich uranium as part of a weapons programme but did not appear close to producing a nuclear bomb. Col Gaddafi made a surprise announcement 10 days ago that his regime would abandon efforts to build WMD.
| No Place To Go
Don't shop at all. Don't buy anything. Don't go to the movies, etc. If enough Americans do this, Bush will be forced to back down and enforce our immigration laws.
| Identity Crisis
Bring up the idea of a national identification card and you're asking for trouble. Sure, it might sound good in theory. Entrepreneurs and politicians have said that ID cards would keep terrorists off airplanes and out of buildings. Cards linked to law enforcement databases would ensure travelers weren't on watch lists or wanted for other crimes. But debate about the concept has been polarized in the extreme. Techno-positivists argue that for a secure state, the government should have access to as much data as possible. Principled libertarians respond that government shouldn't have access to any data at all - that a badly designed system could keep tabs on citizens' travel, spending, and personal habits. The truth is, any identification system is inherently neutral; it can either respect privacy or threaten it. But this distinction was lost in the noise until last fall, when media mogul Steven Brill promised a middle way: a volunteer ID card that, he says, would protect both privacy and security. His company, Verified Identity, hopes to have cards and turnstiles in place by February.

| Abolish the H-1B Visa Program
Every year, over 1,000,000 Americans are terminated from employment in the current economy. At the same time, the Government of the United States dispenses over 600,000 H-1B and L-1 Visas annually expressly to fill American jobs with foreign labor. If you believe the Government should not be relegating the American people into such wholesale unemployment, this site provides you with the means to help put this dynamic to an end.
| Public power in 2004
CITY ATTORNEY DENNIS Herrera, who's positioning himself as the first person to hold that job in 90 years who's willing to openly advocate for a municipal electric utility, summed up the state of Pacific Gas and Electric Co.'s bankruptcy bailout very nicely in an op-ed piece in the Dec. 19 San Francisco Chronicle: "If ever an event in our history made a convincing demand for the necessity of public power, it's the PG&E bailout approved by the California Public Utilities Commission Thursday." The CPUC, in a cave-in of gargantuan proportions, agreed to stick PG&E's ratepayers with a tab of as much as $8 billion over the next nine years. The decision followed one of the great sellouts of California political history: as Matthew Hirsch reports on page 16, the Utility Reform Network, which claims to fight for consumer rights, signed off on the deal – and will now collect some $1 million in legal fees as part of the settlement.
| Foreigners who use NHS will have to pay up front
Foreigners who use the National Health Service will have to pay for their treatment in advance as part of a tightening of the rules on "health tourism", an abuse that is estimated to cost £200 million a year. John Reid, the Health Secretary, will this week order hospitals to demand payments before overseas visitors receive treatment to stop the NHS being "taken for a ride". John Reid: 'The NHS is first and foremost for those living in the UK' In an interview with the Telegraph yesterday, Mr Reid pledged that foreigners would no longer be able to abuse the free health service in this country.
| White House Gaggle by Scott McClellan Good morning, everybody. I hope everybody had a good holiday break and I hope everybody looks forward to going down to Texas for a little time down there. The President and Mrs. Bush had a very enjoyable family Christmas at Camp David. The President - Mrs. Bush gave the President a couple of shirts, a couple of ties and a book. The book is "The Devil in the White City," by Eric Larson. And the President gave Mrs. Bush a gold beaded necklace, some earrings and some dessert plates that she saw in Georgetown. And the President and Mrs. Bush very much look forward to going home and spending some time in Texas. And that's all I've got. | |
| Frontline report from the War
The ground was extremely wet during this period, as it had been raining for several days. We had conducted a non-stop movement of 300 kilometers to OBJ PISTOL. We were closing from the West in a HK formation (Hunter Killer Team), which consists of three BFVs and 2 M1 Tanks. I identified a large number of enemy dismounts near the bridge, which was our objective. Due to ROE (there had been no engagements during the war to this point) we could not fire on them. We signaled them to surrender and they immediately opened fire on us. I was told to move up to the bridge with one of the M1 tanks. While we were moving up the M1 engaged the dismounts with coax and .50 cal, which had no affect. So I opened up with 25mm HE which literally “laid them out”. Note: the next day our CO counted 65 KIA there. We then moved up to the bridge and secured it. I counted the bodies and got between 60 and 70. I placed the M1 on the road and I pulled flank security in the field. An Iraqi military truck then came down the road from the military compound. It saw us and immediately turned around and fled back into the compound.

| Numbers Down, But Insurgent Attacks Continue
WASHINGTON, Dec. 27, 2003 –Though the number of attacks by insurgents in Iraq continues the decline it has shown since mid-September, the coalition isn't ready to say the trend will continue. At a Baghdad press conference today, Army Brig. Gen. Mark T. Kimmitt, deputy director of operations for Combined Joint Task Force 7, pointed out that in mid-September, there were as many as 50 attacks on coalition forces per day. "In the last 24 hours, we've only had 14 attacks," he noted. "The number is ranging around 14 to 15 per day. So with the exception of the minor spike we had on Christmas Day, when there were 18, the numbers are going down." But the general quickly added, "That doesn't mean they can't start going up next week. We don't think today is a good prediction of what will happen tomorrow."
| The High Costs of Federal Energy Efficiency Standards for Residential Appliances The U.S. Department of Energy administers a program that imposes minimum energy efficiency standards for residential appliances. Analysts at DOE's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory estimate that those standards will save consumers a net total of $150 billion through 2050 with a benefit/cost ratio of 2.75/1. The LBNL calculations, however, rely on an underestimation of energy efficiency gains that would occur absent government mandates and use an unrealistically low consumer discount rate to calculate the value of future energy savings. A correction of those errors suggests that the DOE's energy efficiency standards will actually cost consumers a net $46.4 billion to $56.2 billion through 2050 in addition to the $200 million to $250 million required to run the program over that period. The program's costs are borne disproportionately by low- and middle-income households. Because the appliance standards do not correct a market failure, increases in energy efficiency via government mandates—even if the standards were recalibrated—are unlikely to enhance the efficient use of energy resources or improve consumer well-being. | |
| Saddam's show trial deal already cut?
Saddam Hussein will be detained for life in a Qatar prison after his showcase trial. Intense behind-the-scenes negotiations, brokered by Britain, will see the former dictator jailed in the tiny Gulf state for security reasons. He was offered exile in Qatar before the outbreak of the war in Iraq, but rejected the offer made by Arab leaders looking for a peaceful solution. Globe-Intel can also reveal how Saddam was: BETRAYED by those closest to him. A senior Qatari source confirmed that talks have already taken place at the highest level; but denied the Iraqi leader was now in the Gulf peninsula where the US Central Command has its war headquarters. An official denial was issued earlier this week from the state's capital in Doha that Saddam was already being held here. This was reinforced by Captain Bruce Frame from US Central Command in Florida who said: "For security reasons we cannot identify where he is at the moment." . .
| Shocking rise in gun crime
GUN crime has rocketed in Yorkshire with a chilling catalogue of high-profile gangland shootings and armed robberies. Last night's shooting of two policemen came just days after a 25-year-old man was shot in the leg by one of two men who burst into his home in the Harehills area. And earlier this month a 15-year-old schoolgirl was shot in the leg as she walked along Hamilton Terrace, in Chapeltown. The same day a 25-year-old woman was taken from her home in Chapeltown by three men in balaclavas and driven to a secluded lane off Wetherby Road. Once there her attackers shot her a number of times in the leg with a handgun. In November, Mark McCall, 37, described by police as a "significant criminal", was gunned down as he was walking in a ginnel near his home in Pudsey, west of Leeds.

| The China syndrome: U.S. companies are beginning to outsource technology R&D to India and China. Will a meltdown in tech jobs follow? MIKE SOPHIE has good reason to smile these days. In a year that's been rough for almost every business sector, the CFO and vice president of finance at Alameda, California-based UTStarcom is expecting an 86 percent jump in revenue, from $982 million in 2002 to a record $1.8 billion. And he hopes that's just the beginning. The company, which provides mobile telephony suited to emerging markets, is soon to deploy the technology in South Asia, Africa, and Latin America. To that end, UTStarcom earmarked $25 million in July to expand its research-and-development center and hire about 100 engineers. If that sounds like a lot of bang tot the buck, it is--because the R&D center is based in India. CFOs still wondering whether or not to send back-office functions offshore are far behind the outsourcing vanguard. Increasingly, technology R&D is migrating overseas. Intel, for example, is developing Banias, its next-generation mobile processor, in Israel; Nortel Networks is developing its wireless Internet infrastructure in India. | |
| Think Again: A Forgotten War
Two years after the U.S. dropped its first bombs over Afghanistan in President Bush’s global war against terrorism, the Taliban are reportedly regrouping in the lawless tribal region straddling the Afghan-Pakistan border. Last year, President Bush had described the post-Taliban period as "the new era of hope in Afghanistan." Congress recently increased aid and military spending for Afghanistan as part of the $87 billion Iraq-Afghanistan supplemental appropriations bill. But the news from Afghanistan, which has slowed down to a trickle due to the media’s unwillingness to put reporters on the ground, is not particularly good. (See Joe Strupp’s ‘Few Newspapers Covering Afghanistan’ in Editor & Publisher Online) Americans are hearing plenty about America’s war of choice in Iraq, but almost nothing about the war that, had it been better funded, planned and executed might actually have done something to arrest the threat of terrorism. The news is not good. Here’s some of what we’re not seeing or hearing. In addition to the resurgence of the Taliban, Afghanistan has resumed harvesting massive amounts of opium and now accounts for 77 percent of global opium production according to the latest annual report of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. Twenty-eight out of 32 provinces in Afghanistan now produce the drug crop, up from 18 provinces in 1999. Cultivation has spread outside the traditional eastern and southern producing areas. The 3,600 tons of opium produced in Afghanistan last year was processed into 360 tons of heroin. The total revenues of poppy farmers and traffickers amounted to more than half of Afghanistan's gross domestic product of $4.4 billion. Drug money now finances local warlords and terrorists, possibly including the resurgent Taliban.
| Pot victory
Medical marijuana patients won a landmark legal victory Dec. 16 when the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco ruled that the federal government has no constitutional authority to prosecute two California women for possessing and growing marijuana for their personal medical use. Federal prosecutors have long argued that California's 1996 medical marijuana law, Proposition 215, was superseded by the federal Controlled Substances Act, which outlaws the use or cultivation of marijuana for any purpose. Law enforcement agents have used this reasoning to raid the homes of and arrest medical marijuana patients and their caregivers. But in a 2-1 decision, the court found that if the marijuana is not purchased, transported across state lines, or used nonmedically, the federal government has no jurisdiction. The ruling covers the seven states in the Ninth Circuit that have passed medical marijuana laws: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
| Bill Pryor's Shocking Comments During Roy Moore's "Trial"
The second of two recent commentaries by Chuck Baldwin (who was present in the courtroom), regarding the exchange between Bill Pryor and Roy Moore during cross-examination... Following up on my last column, it is extremely important that every American citizen read the exchange between Alabama Attorney General Bill Pryor and Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore during Moore's trial. Since The Court of the Judiciary did not allow television cameras or recording devices in the courtroom, it is up to people like me to get the word out to the American people as to what Pryor said. The examination of Chief Justice Moore by Bill Pryor is shocking, to say the least. Here is a verbatim exchange between the two men taken from the court transcript:

| Iran earthquake triggered by HAARP?
Folks, it's just my opinion, but I believe that Iran was hit with an earthquake by means of HAARP, here is why: I remember reading yesterday (I believe on a link from Propaganda Matrix and LibertyThink.com) on CyberSpaceOrbit.com about HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) being turned on at the same time that the terror color alert was issued (HAARP comes on in idle Hi-power mode just after High terror alert issued). I told one of my friends that I wouldn't be surprised if we started getting hit with earthquakes, volcanoes, or some other condition that HAARP reportedly causes (HAARP Home Page - Radar Matrix - HAARP.net). |

| Internal Revenue Service: PASTORS MUST BE ORDAINED BY THE IRS
The most prominent and successful certified public accountant firm in the nation today, that specializes in keeping churches out of trouble with the Internal Revenue Service, is now boldly saying to the pastors of America that they not only have to be "ordained by God, but also the IRS." They also say that the IRS is dictating terms to the churches by declaring in clear and no uncertain terms that, "The government doesn't want your Bible, they want your checkbook!" In seminars all over the US, Chitwood and Chitwood of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is repeating this startling announcement to pastors and church leaders. Without so much as a blush, Michael Chitwood, the main speaker, says, besides the above quotes, "Pastor, if you don't get your house in order, get ready, you are going to have a jail ministry" as he practically screams out to those present as to what pastors and church leaders must do to avoid jail time and the confiscation of church property by the federal government. Besides giving the pastor his job description, which is based on the Roman Catholic model of worship and polity, the IRS is demanding many other things that are clearly designed to make the IRS Commissioner the new head of the churches in America. Some of these demands are as follows: The church must collect a Federal ID (Social Security) number from visiting evangelists, missionaries, preachers and singers before they invite them to the pulpit. They must give a Form 1099 to any minister who receives up to $600 in a years time, which includes missionary support. If the ID is not received, the church leaders must withhold a jeopardy assessment of 39% on the spot and send it to the IRS. They must agree to the IRS definition of benevolence. They cannot deal in cash at any level, but must deposit all offerings into a checking account and write checks for every purpose. This means, of course, that the church, in order to conduct its ministry, has to have an Employer Identification Number which must be provided by the IRS by filing Form SS-4 which a true New Testament church could never do and remain obedient to her Lord. In fact, church leaders would have to misrepresent the church as a religious organization rather than a N.T. Church to do so. Other things that pastors and church leaders are required to do are to be an informer against their members and also to preach only IRS prescribed sermons. Also, all fund raising material must be submitted to the IRS for their approval. The job description for pastors is a list of nine specific sacerdotal duties which again is a Roman Catholic definition meaning sacred. The Catholic church teaches that these sacraments, when administered by a priest, are essential to one's salvation. This is totally opposite to the Bible definition which states that baptism and communion are memorials of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that they follow salvation. The nine duties are: baptisms, weddings, serving the Eucharist (the Catholic sacrament of communion), teaching, spiritual counseling, christenings or baby dedications, administration of church affairs and the regular conducting of worship services. If the pastor does a substantial number of these things, he will receive very lucrative tax breaks. This is in clear violation of the scriptures concerning the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes which the Lord Jesus said that He hates (Rev. 2:6, 2:15). It is the setting up of a privileged class of clergy with benefits from the state that lay members do not receive. Others who minister to the church in the area of music, youth, children, education and other areas of responsibility don't qualify. This is consistent with what officials of the IRS told Attorney David Gibbs of the Christian Law Association (CLA) in 1984 when they said that their definition of church is "once per week adult worship." They said that they did not consider such ministries as Sunday school, Christian school, busses, youth camp, vacation Bible school, nursing home, etc., to fall within their definition of the word "church". This Gibbs/IRS meeting took place in Washington, DC at the time that the so called champion of Christian liberty was hammering out a compromise with the Dole Committee (Sen. Bob Dole R-Kansas) in the US Senate to bring the churches into compliance with the FICA tax (social security) laws. This was the deal that would eventually cause the raid and seizure of the Baptist Temple 17 years later. It's too bad that Gibbs didn't sound the alarm at that time and call the Bible believing pastors together for a summit meeting to map out a strategy that could have possibly saved our churches and ministries. The unregistered church pastors tried, but unfortunately our words fell on deaf ears. The so called "big" preachers were too busy receiving their tax deductible gifts and building their empires to be concerned over the future of God's work. Now the enemies of Christ have sprung the trap and it is too late. These requirements should be intolerable enough by just the fact that the IRS would even dare to suggest duties for pastors, but to impose under the penalty of imprisonment and confiscation of property the same responsibilities of Roman Catholic priests is nothing short of naked tyranny. Obviously, the inquisition has returned and the pastors and churches of America are not even aware that it has arrived. The raid and seizure of the property of the Baptist Temple is the direct result of the pastors and church refusing to bow down to this new wave of Catholic terror that has come upon our land. The issue in the Baptist Temple case isn't taxes as the IRS, with the help of the media, has led the people of Indianapolis and nation to believe. The issue is very simple. Will the churches of America bow down to the IRS in violation of the first commandment, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me," or will they bow down to the Lord Jesus Christ? Our Lord said, "No man can serve two! masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon" (Matthew 6:24). The purge is now on as we hear of churches and ministries being closed on a regular basis. But there is still no evidence that the pastors have awakened from their stupor. The benevolent requirements for churches are beyond atrocious. They are five in number: food, clothing, housing, medical emergencies and utilities. The church cannot help with transportation or auto repairs and a myriad of other things that churches have historically done on a regular basis. The church cannot make loans to the pastor, members, or others which churches have always done. Obviously, they want to make sure that the money lenders get their profits even from the poor. Can you imagine the government of the US limiting a church as to its duties in regarding charitable activity? There is no subject in the Bible that is nearer to the heart of God than charity. According to the apostle James, it is the test of pure religion (James 1:27). Paul the Apostle declares that charity is of higher value even than preaching and sacrifice (I Cor. 13:1-3). For the churches to debase such a high and noble service to Christ by submitting its administration to the wicked IRS is beyond belief. How will the preachers of America give an account of caving into this coercion by an abusive Bush administration who is continuing with the policies of those before him? How will church leaders face the Lord Jesus at the Judgment Seat of Christ when He asks them why they violated His clear commands concerning alms giving? He said, "Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men, Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly." But now the churches are required to get the permission of the IRS before helping someone other than in the manner and purpose that they approve. Then records will have to be kept for the IRS so that the publicans can make sure that the church is in fact following their guidelines. And, of course, they expect church leaders to report this alms giving to the IRS so that they can even gouge the poor for more tribute. And all of this so the churches can keep their tax exemption and the people can get their precious tax deductions for their tithes and gifts. As James Dobson's organization said when challenged, "It's just good stewardship." Thievery, good stewardship? How sad. It may be that the churches have now gone too far. When they begin building their dynasties on the backs of the poor our Lord, no doubt, will be swift in His removal of their candlestick. He said to the church at Ephesus, "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works: or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent" (Rev. 2:5). All Churches Now Required to Join IRS Super Church Two other developments concerning IRS control of churches have risen recently that should literally send shock waves through the religious community. First, while the churches are arguing doctrinal positions among themselves, and won't even spit on each other for the most part, the IRS has now developed its own super church. Independent Baptists in particular pride themselves in their anti-ecumenism. No fundamentalist preacher worth his salt would be caught dead at the local church federation meeting where he has to rub shoulders with a charismatic or liberal preacher. However, they don't think twice about paying a large fee to go to a Chitwood or CLA seminar and sit next to one of these religious outcasts to learn how to be a good IRS approved church and pastor. It is now a fact that in order to get and keep the tax-exempt status a church must agree that all religions are equal. The new Application for Recognition of Exemption Form 1023 Schedule A for Churches (Rev. September 1998) demands a declaration to this effect with the following words at point #3: "Does the organization require prospective members to renounce other religious beliefs or their membership in other churches or religious orders to become members? Yes__ No__. If "Yes," describe." It doesn't take much intelligence to figure out where they are going with this. In order to be considered a legal church (tax exempt) in America, the church or religious organization will have to declare that all religions are equal. They will also have to declare that they do not believe that their doctrinal position only results in converts to their faith having eternal life. They must renounce this narrow inclusivist position. Maybe we now know why Billy Graham, Robert Schuller, Pat Robertson, and other TV preachers have been making such fuzzy remarks about adherents of other religions, though sincere, going to heaven without receiving Christ. In that tax exemption is government subsidy, according to the Supreme Court in the Bob Jones University case, it is now clear that the US government will not support any religion that clings to the narrow minded belief that salvation is in Jesus Christ alone. Remember? "Come Shekels, Come Shackles." The world church isn't coming; it is already here, and the preachers don't have a clue as they go merrily along hand in hand with the Great Harlot to the wedding with the anti-Christ. (Rev. 17). US Government Through the IRS Outlaws Preaching on Second Coming of Christ One of the reasons the IRS gave to Texe Marr's Living Truth Ministries for removing their tax exempt status is as follows: "Much of the material you disseminate promises to address possible conspiracies or threats, either from individuals, groups or various agencies, against Christianity, freedom or other rights. This is evident from a review of your newsletters and order forms. The titles and promotional materials are designed to sensationalize and grab the readers attention. They usually imply that the works will expose certain prominent groups, individuals, politicians or government agencies as being part of or linked to some threat or conspiracy." One of the titles that the IRS gave as an example included "Bible Prophecy and The Conspiracy." Any grade school child in Sunday School knows that you can't teach or write on Bible prophecy without dealing with the second coming of Jesus Christ. But just as the Russian pastors under communism were forbidden to speak on this subject, we are now coming to the same place in our beloved land. It is obvious that one who believes in the literal return of the Lord Jesus Christ will be considered a domestic terrorist. In that the Lord Jesus will destroy wicked government upon His return in great glory and break the back of Gentile world rule, this message isn't popular with the in-for-hells and the high-heeled-belles that run our country today. Of course, they don't believe that He is coming, but they believe that we who do will be involved in what they call self-fulfilled prophecies and try to hasten His coming by blowing up everything in sight. Further evidence of this type of anti-Christ thinking surfaced recently when a brochure put out by the FBI in Phoenix, Arizona, named "potential domestic terrorists" that law enforcement should be aware of. One of those groups is "Doomsday/Cult-Type." Obviously, this would include all Bible believing preachers and churches in America. We not only believe that there will be a literal doomsday, we believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will bring the doom when He comes (Rev. 6:12-17). It won't do any good to claim that your church is not a "cult". The IRS definition fits the average Bible believing church to a tee. Many have asked if we can actually show them this in the law. Our answer is no, we can't because you won't find a specific law that says that you can't preach on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in America today. That's because they don't have to write a law to gain the same effect. All Congress has to do is to give an outlaw agency like the IRS a carte blanche privilege of making up their own so-called laws as they go along. The churches agreed to this when they signed their tax-exempt contract. They said that they would obey all laws, federal, state and local, presently and in the future. But they apparently didn't read the fine print. The new churches filing for tax exemption must agree to the following: "The Corporation or organization shall have no power to take any action that would be required for a tax exemption under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and related regulations, rulings, and procedures." It is now the "procedure" of the IRS to refuse tax exempt status to those churches that will not agree that all religions are equal and who refuse to join through tax exemption, the world church. Also, preaching on Christ's coming is taboo. For those churches which are foolish enough to believe that Sec. 508 of the IRS code allows an automatic exemption for churches, need to read it again. It doesn't say "exemption," it says, "...churches have a mandatory exception." The exception is from filing a Form 1023 to make application for not for profit status. Here is the kicker. Churches have to abide by the same rules that those that do file for this privilege. And if they do not, the IRS can, and most assuredly will, remove their tax exemption. The only thing missing is the annual Form 990 that other religious organizations have to file. When this is required, the churches will be under total control of the IRS with no wiggle room. In the Baptist Temple court case, the church learned that a New Testament Church does not legally exist in the US today because there are no longer any First Amendment protections left. The genius of the First Amendment and various religious freedom clauses of the fifty states is that, for the first time in history, a N.T. Church could exist legally without having in the words of the IRS a "distinct legal existence." Now even a N.T. Church will be assigned by force the legal status of an association and will be expected to meet the same standards that the not for profits have to meet. But, they still won't have their God given right of a non-taxable status. This status is in contrast to an exempt status which is a privilege not a right. IRS Agent Says That Churches are Trapped The evidence as to what we are saying, though denied by most preachers, was made clear on January 24 this year in Tampa, Florida. IRS agent Melvin Blough testified in federal court that "once a church obtains the status of 501(c)(3) under the IRC they are trapped. The only way to be removed from a 501(c)(3) status is if the IRS chooses to remove the exemption. So if you dissolve the corporation and continue on as ABC church, an unincorporated church, you're still trapped in their web and under their control." He further testified that a church is automatically exempt under federal law without a 501(c)(3) designation. He also stated under oath that churches request the status just to get the government's stamp of approval. Even though Blough used the word "exemption" rather than "exception," he is essentially correct in his assessment of the plight of the churches of America. It is obvious that, regardless, the result is the same. |

| THE Q IS ON THE FLOOR: THE CHEATING OF ISRAEL
In light of the results of the last Israeli election, let us consider Sharon's withdrawal plan. If we recall, 67% of the voters chose to elect the Likud and it's leader, while a mere 18 seats out of 120 went to the Labor Party. The electorate chose overwhelmingly to throw out the scions of Oslo and get back on the survival track. Yet Sharon on 18/12/03 publicly announced that he was going to cheat Israel on a massive scale by adopting the Oslo track of withdrawal from most of Judea, Samaria and Gaza and uproot tens of thousands of Jews by flattening their villages, and at least one full- fledged city. Sharon did not consult with the government cabinet before making the announcement, in fact, he didn't even inform his own ministers. But look who he did choose to consult with! According to the weekly newsmagazine Makor Rishon 19/12/03, Sharon formulated his program by first consulting with Labor leader Shimon Peres. This meeting was followed by advisory sessions with Labor stalwarts Matan Vilnaii, Ephraim Sneh, Shalom Simchon and Ehud Barak. With them, he not only coordinated his withdrawal plan, but assured them that Labor would be invited into the government after his partners on the Right bolted in revolt. And there's much more. Who are Sharon's two closest political advisors? One is Dov Weisglass, the attorney and business partner, along with Sharon's son Omri, of Jibril Rajoub, the PLO's chieftain of Jericho. The other is Avi Landau. Look at the masthead of the greatest deception of the year, The Geneva Initiative, and under the sullied moniker of Yossi Beilin, there is Landau's name. Sharon, for all his lying protestations, sponsored the Geneva stunt. The electorate may have voted Likud but they're getting Labor and Oslo. This is the most flagrant display of cheating Sharon has ever pulled and my reading of the general media is that he's going to get away with it. The question is, how? How can he cheat 2/3 of the Israeli people, and 80% of the country's Jews, without the vast majority understanding how they've been cheated. No amount of logic can explain it no matter how hard one seeks the reason. I mulled the question for a long night, then a personal vignette hit me that did more to explain the cheating acceptance than any political analysis. Bear with me for a few paragraphs before we examine the upcoming consequences of Sharon's wool pulling. Soily Is Good There is a club in Jerusalem that meets to play Scrabble. For a decade I was a member and through arduous dictionary memorization, became a perennial champion. However, even in its earliest days, widespread cheating infected the club. Initially, the rule was that the tiles were reversed, placed face down on the top of the box lid and picked at random. But some players marked the good tiles subtly, so the rule changed that tiles had to be picked from a bag. That led to new forms of cheating. One involved feeling the tiles one by one until the telltale smoothness of the valuable blanks was detected. Another method was looking at the tiles in your hand and sneakily sliding the bad ones back in the bag. No tile was more dreaded in the end game than the Q. It was hard to get rid of on a crowded board and if you got stuck with it at the end of the game, you had to deduct 10 points from your score. One remedy was to simply and quietly, drop the Q on the floor and claim it was there all along. Early on, I got very good at finding the cheaters. My method was to appear to be concentrating on my own tiles while watching the opponent's hands and eyes very closely as he picked his. The most infuriating moment occurred at a national tournament when I clearly saw my opponent throw a tile back during a tight end game. There were only two tiles left in the bag, and wouldn't you know it, I picked the Q after my turn. What unsettled me more than the cheating was the supposed high character of the opponent, a respected scientist. Sickened by the situation, I became agitated and quit the game for a year or so. But I was persuaded to return for a tournament with a big prize: a trip to the world scrabble championships. I played three games that evening. Game one was with a woman I had known since the founding of the club. It was a close game ending with, you guessed it, the Q on the floor. And I sure didn't drop it there. Game two was fair. Game three was with an orthodox religious lady. Near the end she added an s to oily making soily. I knew it was wrong and challenged. She looked it up in the dictionary and declared, "Soily is good." I accepted the announcement, believing this upstanding woman would never cheat me to win. Only later, well after the game ended, did I look the word up myself, to discover that I had been cheated. I appealed to the club president, an insecure, angry person with literary pretensions, to overturn the game. He turned to the cheater and she lied through her teeth to him. He was fooled and the club supported the cheat. In this case, justice was ultimately served. I stopped wasting my life in a pointless pursuit and it blossomed. And the cheater continues with her pathetic existence. This was my first lesson in Israeli cheating. The most unexpected people are engaged in it and the people would rather believe there was no cheating in their world. I quit the game for good in utter disgust and then Rabin was murdered. I had honed the skill of catching cheaters and this time I vowed I would not let them prosper. I caught Rabin's real murderers and though about half the country know it, they cannot be properly motivated to bring justice to their land. They would rather believe that their leaders are honest, the leaders know it, so the cheaters they elected can get away with anything. It is a national character flaw that is proving too costly in lives and integrity. Nonetheless, Sharon is discovering a few major roadblocks to his latest cheat. Perhaps the most significant was the pronouncement earlier in the week by Rabbi Elias that it is a sin to remove a Jew from his land. Rabbi Elias is the most influential Sephardic rabbi, and most of Israel's policemen are Sephardic. They will not defy him. If the police will not remove the Jews of Yesha from their homes, Sharon's scam won't work. And if the Yesha residents resist in number, the only way of securing their removal will be extreme violence or state-sanctioned murder. We know the state is capable of this in secret. Recall the disarming and murder of the three soldiers in Netzarim last Oct. 26. Three young Jews were murdered to persuade the Israeli public that a withdrawal from Netzarim was in the best interests of our endangered youth. Makor Rishon added new details to the Netzarim campaign this week. Haaretz followed the murders with an article in which four officers of the reserve unit which served in Netzarim were quoted saying that the village had to be abandoned. The four officers gathered together to reveal that they said nothing of the kind and that Haaretz had simply, lied to them and to their readers. All for withdrawal. The bloody Netzarim campaign has been dirty but surreptitious. A public slaughter of Yesha residents is another matter. This, most soldiers will refuse to engage in. So, according to a few of my sources, Sharon has brought in Turkish Moslems to the job. Let us begin with an article from the prince of defamation, Haaretz, and assume that this time they got it right: 11/04/2003 PM okays 800 Turkish workers here in return for tank deal By Ruth Sinai, HAARETZ Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has permitted 800 Turkish construction workers to work in Israel as part of a $687 million deal with Israel's military industries to upgrade Patton tanks for the Turkish armed forces. The workers are being employed by Israeli contractors to build private homes. The money they send home will be deducted from the sum that Israel is obliged to spend in Turkey, under the military agreement which includes mutual procurement. The deal was worked out during long months of secret negotiations between Ta'as military industries and the administration of Turkey's military industries. It was not brought to the attention of the Employment Service which is supposed to distribute the permits for foreign workers. The workers are sent to Israel by a private Turkish company, which is registered also in Israel, and offers them to the contractors. "Instead of the workers earning $200 a month, they will get $800 here. Through his Israeli representative, Nissim Giyus, Arik said that Yilmazlar has succeeded in persuading the directors of the Turkish military industries in Ankara to agree to a year's trial. An Israel Miliary Industries spokesman said: "The permission to employ 800 Turkish workers was given to IMI as part of the agreement for mutual procurement. The deal to upgrade 170 Patton tanks for the Turkish armored corps is worth some $687 million over a five-year period. It is the single largest military export deal ever carried out by the Defense Ministry. As part of the agreement, Israel agreed to acquire Turkish products or services to the tune of several tens of million shekels a year. Israeli contractors are furious about the deal. They consider it a means of circumventing the arduous route they are forced to take to get a limited number of permits for foreign workers. One senior source described it in this way: "Suddenly some firm starts calling contractors who didn't get permits from the employment service, to offer them workers at the highest price possible." "This is trading in humans - tanks for workers - a corrupt use of government channels to get private profits," says Hannah Zohar, who heads Kav Le'Oved, the hotline for protection of workers' rights. She believes it is a dangerous precedent. "China also has tremendous business and strategic potential for Israel but it would demand sending 10,000 workers, not 800. If this is such a good and kosher deal for Israel, why was it not done through the employment service, openly and according to accepted criteria?" A senior government official is perplexed by the arrangement. "How is this possible? The prime minister has closed the skies, forbidden the entry of foreign workers and ordered 50,000 expelled. The government tells the unemployed they must go out and work and on the other hand, it is bringing in 800 foreign workers." The first Turkish workers arrived over the past few weeks and got permits for a year from the interior ministry. Some of them are employed in the prestigious Mashtela project near Zehala, by contractor Yehuda Mizrahi, whose name is not on the list of those permitted to employ foreign workers. Despite numerous requests, Mizrahi was not available for comment. The names of the workers must be sent to the defense ministry for approval. The reason for this is unclear since they are not involved in security work but rather in building villas. Other foreign workers do not have to undergo the scrutiny of security authorities. Why are these "workers" under the scrutiny of the security authorities? Why are they earning 4 times the salary of other foreign laborers? Why are they authorized by the Turkish military? Why weren't they required to apply for work visas like everyone else? Here are two reports sent to me: "About 800 Turkish fellows were "contracted" by the Misrad Ha'Bitachon to work as offset on the Turkish battle tank upgrade to be performed in Israel. Remarkably, most of those were still "idle" until a couple of weeks ago. "No one really knew what "ultimate work" those fine people would do until then. About then, one of our field people received TWO phone calls to meet with the field guys, from mid-rank officers, permanent force. "Two of their sources informed that they just had many TURKISH "immigrants" being inducted into special units. The "immigrants" acted quite well trained already and stayed as a unit. As you know there are SECRET facilities closed to any scrutiny and our conclusion is that those are far from being just "prisons". "Other folk informed that there are Ukrainian and Russian specialized people also dressed for the occasion. We reported a while back that US special units were also seen transporting the HEAVY equipments that may be used. There are no traces of where they are. That some of THOSE PEOPLE ARE NOT high "Q" specimens, is a foregone conclusion." * "Our info is that Turkish mercenaries are to be used to ethnically cleanse the Jewish village of Migron, with 40 families, situated in a strategically important point on the highway from Jerusalem into the Shomron, tomorrow or the next day. Verification has been requested of the Defense Ministry, just so that they know we have heard about it." * Another informant spoke to me in person. He doubts that the Turks will be deployed so quickly and believes they will be called into action only in a few months and only if events turn critical for Sharon. He insists that the mercenaries are currently being taught Hebrew and are not ready to begin their operations. When they are, they will be outfitted with IDF uniforms and attack the resisting Jews with Islamic relish. That Sharon is going ahead with the Geneva plan is now doubtless. That rebellion in the police and IDF is a real possibility is equally doubtless. That this ugly Turkish alternative to civil war is being prepared has to be examined quickly if we are to cheat Sharon's fate. end Unrelated intelligence: A Canadian Arab sent to Israel for Hamas training, was arrested by Israel two weeks ago. Not told to the public was his mission. He was to return to Canada and murder NRP head Efi Eitam on a Canadian speaking tour planned for this week. Eitam cancelled his Canadian visit in response to the threat. Correction: For those who did not receive my correction to last week's article. Ehud Olmert was not going to receive an award from Yisrael Medad, rather he was invited to be an honored guest at the awards ceremony. That Medad did not rescind the invitation amounts to the same sin. Question: How could Saddam Hussein have bricked himself into the hole from inside the hole?? Attachments: Two Hebrew essays by my readers are attached. The first is an insightful overview of the Rabin murder written by Yehuda Zilberberg. The second is Chapter Four of Joel Bainerman's new book, detailing the manipulation of Israel by covert foreign powers. | Further On The Gold Issue
By Don Stacey As to this new law that allows the government to track precious metals dealers, I believe it to be a serious threat to Americans. Most have no awareness of the role of gold, but it plays an important part in monitoring the deterioration of the US dollar. Because of that the government would like it to be neutralized. As it is, gold trades in world wide markets and, although there is manipulation by governments, provides a measure of reality as to the "value" of the dollar. As the gold price rises in terms of the US dollar, it is obvious to all that the "market" prefers gold to dollars. As more people become aware of this phenomenon, more are encouraged to sell dollars and buy gold. Foreign investors in US assets see that the value of their assets fall as the dollar depreciates. Why hold a US bond that pays 5% interest if the value of the dollar is falling at a rate greater than 5%? At the end, the loss of value exceeds the interest and the holder is a net loser. Recently, the dollar has been falling at a rate greater than 5% in most other currencies. China is an exception because it has tied it's currency, the Yuan, to the dollar and the two currencies move in lock step. But there has been substantial loss against the Euro in the past year. About a year ago, the Euro could be purchased for less than 90 cents. Now it costs about $1.24. A trip to Europe now as compared with last year will be much more expensive. FDR confiscated all gold in the hands of American citizens in the early thirties. Americans were not allowed to own gold and required to turn any that they held into the Federal Reserve in return of $20 an ounce in Federal Reserve Notes. As an enforcement technique, no bank deposit box could be opened without a Federal agent in attendance. After the gold was turned in, the government raised the "official" price of gold to $35. For forty years, it was illegal for Americans to own gold. [Gold is now trading at $410.] Will this happen again? I believe that the government will likely confiscate gold again. This new law is a clear signal that the process is underway. Anyone who holds gold in bullion form or in coins, should avoid bank safe deposit boxes. They can expect that any purchases of gold that they make at precious metal dealers will be reported to the government. Most likely, many who hold gold will remove it from their "safe" deposit boxes and secure it elsewhere. If they do this in time, I suspect some who have gold with no "record" will be able to avoid confiscation if they are willing to ignore the requirements that they turn in gold at some point soon. The prospect of living in violation of the law is not a pleasant one, but I suspect many will do so in order to preserve their gold. Certainly one can expect a black market in gold to develop before long should this happen. |
| WMD, Where Are They?
By Regis H. Murphy, Jr. The whole world knows that Iraq during the regime of 'the current missing fugitive dictator' used poison gas against the Kurds, Iran, and other enemies of that state. Even the United Nations will admit to that. The stock piles of chemical artillery shells and bombs found in Iraq in the early nineties was photographed, counted, weighed, and categorized. Their olocation was noted by 'neutral' weapons inspectors back then and yet they are not under control of anyone that we know of at this time and cannot be found! Supposedly, not all but part of the reason we removed the old regime was due to the threat of their possible use of weapons of mass destruction. Most of us still agree that even though we have not found the stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction we were hoping to, the decision to go to war with Iraq is still graded as favorable by most Americans. Yet, the question remains, where are the weapons of mass destruction? Iraq is a large country where there is still enough desolate space to hide things that may not be found for a long time. Didn't we recently find some fighter aircraft hidden out there in the desert? Who knows, out there in that region we may even find the 'Ark Of The Covenant', or perhaps the 'Garden of Eden'! Outside of Iraq, Syria is the most obvious 'holder' of WMD in that area. The Syrians have a similar terrorist agenda, history of aggression, religion, sympathy for, and some common enemies that the 'old' Iraq had. Why wouldn't it be suspect that Syria received WMD from Iraq for 'safe keeping'? Even the idea that Iran, once an enemy of Iraq, has WMD that were either received from Iraq or manufactured by themselves is not unreasonable. Remember, we have to think like they do, not as we traditionally do about ourselves. 'An enemy of my enemy is my friend.' War, and the survival of it, often makes strange bedfellows. Let's see though, who would really know where WMD are to be found? Even if the French knew, we couldn't trust them to tell us. The Germans are quite logical but they'd look hardest at Israel. The Israelis probably have their own WMD and if they knew for sure where other WMD were in the Middle East, they'd tell us, hopeful so that we would take care of it. Wait, how about the Japanese? They're clever and have a good national psychic, obviously they learn from history, and they'd tell you in a moment if asked where WMD are. Of course, more than anyone else, the Japanese! Any of the history students taught by me, hopefully would still be able to tell you why America dropped two atomic bombs on Japan to end the Second World War. We only had two! President Truman, when briefed on using the then new weapons of mass destruction to shorten the war and thus save American lives, wanted to drop atomic bombs on the six largest military complexes in Japan but was disappointed when he was informed we only had two WMD! Other countries and organizations may threaten us with having and possibly using WMD, but remember, we are the only country that has openly, and with logical justification, done it! And, I believe, that if we as a country, found it to be necessary for our survival, would do it again. Possibly, unlike Saddam may have done, we do not bluff or threaten to use weapons that we may or may not have. Everyone in the world by now should know we have enough WMD to 'asphalt' any country that forces us into it. So now you know where the WMD are. They are located all around 'Our Country', amongst our allies, under the seas, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were not also standing by in outer space! As some may say, 'You can take that to the bank!' That's my opinion. "This Is Still America!" |
