USS GREENEVILLE
Vs.
USS COLE

The U.S. Navy has appointed a Board of Inquiry to investigate the USS GREENEVILLE's wrecking of the Japanese boat. I say we should not go through with the investigation. We should just declare that everyone was at fault so there is enough blame to go around and since no one person is to blame...no one should be punished. That is exactly what happened with the USS COLE which caused the lives of American sailors.

Editor's Note: Before receiving Popeye's post on the USS Greeneville investigation, I had already thought about the USS Cole and how the entire affair was whitewashed by the uppers. It will be interesting to see how the USS Greeneville situation washes out. One has to wonder if this Capt. will be as fortunate as the USS Cole's. We will soon see if he is found just as irresponsible for the welfare of his ship as the USS Cole's Capt. was. --Al Colombo
