This commentary is about several things of interest to all good men. First, it's about G.W. Bush and his allegation that he's a Christian. Second, it is about the common mindset of what appears to be today's liberal left.

Let us begin with an e-mail from myself to a good friend, Gary M. who had, in a previous post, told me that G.W. Bush is a Christian. Because many of GW's people are members of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), my comment to him was as follows:

His reply:

Doing not too bad. Getting enough sawdust orders to at least keep the batteries charged on the truck.

"By their works you will know them," Yep... it [is] easier to judge their works than to know for certain where their heart is.

Too many people have a twisted view of right and wrong anymore. People you would expect to know better. I must have argued for over 15-min. with a guy from the Salvation Army the other night, when I was leaving [the grocery store], who thinks that we, you and I, will be judged by God because we try to teach against abortion! As a typical Gore voter, he said that a woman has every right to do what she wants with her body, and we have no right to tell her otherwise. I told him that abortion is MURDER, and that life was created by God in his own image. But it all went right by him.

He didn't know much about world affairs either. He seemed shocked when I told him that Christians are still beaten and jailed in China and that Christian blacks are still sold as slaves in the Sudan. Neither was he aware that Clinton has always sided with the Muslims against the Christians in those brush fire wars he got us into.

As a true democrat, he is blind to the truth, and refused to change his mind about abortion or Clinton & Gore.

Just as one conservative guest stated on C-SPAN this morning...

"We haveLOST the cultural war"... now we must find another avenue of attack to rebuild upon! He said that because of "political correctness," we cannot initiate any new policies because we have to waste all our time DEFENDING the charges of being hate mongers, and never get our own point of view across! But Jesse Jackson and his kin can make all the accusations, inflamitory statements and threats they want to, and call it "free speech!"

There's going to be some very hard times ahead-- but the Bible said it was coming, so WE BE READY!
