This Holiday Season Put One Blue Light Out

The other day, while working in a Policeman friends home, he was remarking to me how tough his job is, especially around the holidays when he has to deal with domestic disputes, robberies, burglarys and other nasty happenings. I told him I could understand were he was coming from, being a volunteer fireman.

While Fireman are still considered as heroes by much of society, police officers are often wrongly considered human garbage men who have to deal with a society that no longer respects them or the law. However, as I pointed out to him, policemen are real heroes, too.

I would never want to be a Policeman because no matter what you do you are wrong. Police officers are charged with protecting society and, for this reason, it is not always a pleasant job. But laws and rules are there for a reason. Without them there would be total anarchy .

There are those in Society, mainly liberals, who will put you down and do everything they can to ruin the police officer's day. Those, like Rev. Al "Liar" Sharpton and Jessie "Mob Rule" Jackson Jr. The problem with liberals is that they beilieve they are above the law and if they don’t like something, they go get a "Rent a Mob" and "lawyers" and file lawsuits against them and call them "racists" when they may not be.

Yes, police and all law enforcement have a tough and thankless job, but there is something you can do to show them that you really do care about them and appreciate their putting their lives on the line every day. The way to do this is to light a blue light bulb in your window or Christmas light display. This blue light will show them that you care.

Thank you police officers everywhere for protecting God-fearing, law-abiding citizens from the scum of society. May you all be able to go home to your familys after every shift you work--safe and whole.
