The Giant Killers Banner
Again

By TK Trix

Well, President Clinton has now gotten the victory that he craved so that he can go down in history as fighting off the bad guys of another nation. The only problems are:

  1. He (with nato) attacked a sovereign nation because he didn't like the politics and civil war that was going on in that country.

  2. He sided with the terrorist, drug-running KLA over another part of the population he did agree with.

  3. The country really never fought back (except for the downing of a stealth (?) plane). They absorbed all the bombing which did extreme damage to the country's infrastructure.

  4. Thousands of innocent Serbs were killed by misdirected (?) smart bombs and missiles. These people had nothing to do with the political policies of the country. They were the average persons that just tried to make ends meet. It seems as though Clinton Administration (and nato) believe that the lives of the Kosovars are more important than that of the Serbs.

  5. He has mired the U.S. military into a situation that is very volatile and potentially life-threatening to U.S. military personnel. At the very least it will cost millions (at least) to keep the U.S. military tied up for Heaven knows how long. Remember Clinton's saying that troops would only be in Bosnia for short duration? It has now been years, with no end in sight.

  6. The KLA will never be satisfied with the status quo. Eventually, the U.S. troops will become targets of their aggression. That will cause an escalation of U.S. military assets. How could it be anything else? If any Americans are attacked or killed then there would be no choice than to punish the attackers. Does this sound like a situation that will end quickly?

  7. China, Russia, North Korea and various other countries now see the U.S. as a country that meddles in the affairs of countries that they don't agree with. They see the U.S. as the only superpower that needs to be brought down a few notches. Therefore, they are communicating more and more and becoming more and more allies. Not good news for the U.S. Don't forget, that NATO is a wishy-washy organization...at best and are cowards that will only attack a country that they know they can whip. Unfortunately, under President Clinton, the U.S. is also gaining that reputation.

Yes, President Clinton, thinks he now has a great victory as a commander in chief that is a bulldog. Funny, though, I still consider him a socialistic, draft-dodging, war-protesting, military-hating, womanizing, arrogant hippie that feels that people do not have the ability to make their own decision...the government must do that for them. Communism??? You decide. I respect the office of the President of the United States. However, I am so happy that I did not vote for this man. I wish people would wake up and get off their comfy couches, use their brains and stop letting the TV do their thinking for them.

Well, gotta go, I blew off some steam and feel much better. -- TKT
