Food Vs. Drugs

Dear Diana;

I was excited to hear that you have been elected to the House of Representatives, Third District.

A few years ago, when I hosted a radio program out of Canton, I shared information that came from you. You helped many people see what O.B.E., "School-to-Work", Goals 2000, etc. is all about. Earl Rodd, Eagle Forum, and J.B.S. have also done much to "educate the public."

This past summer a few of us wrote letters about HB.619 and SB.254, which we believe to be evil and far from being in the public interest. I spoke to Erin Hammon in Kirk Shuring's office last week and was delighted to find that both SB.254 and HB.619 had somehow just died. I expect Merck money will get them both re-introduced in early 2001, but they have to start all over again. The good news is that when citizens put ink on paper, it still works.

I am confident you will find the enclosed information useful as you begin the new session. It not only pertains to "OMNIBUS VACCINATION LEGISLATION," but also to make our public and private schools "Psychiatric Drug Free Zones." I would be willing and interested in helping with some controlled studies in Ohio. It would be fruitful to find just how many "learners" can be truly helped with things so basic as J.P. Gummies, clean water, and Vitaltrition Pycnogenol.

I've seen what quality nutrition can do and I've found out how to get it for about a buck a day per child. When you "Gummie 'em up" it's harder to "dummy 'em down." When you build a child's over all health, vitality and immune systems, they not only catch fewer viruses, they even catch fewer "chemical imbalances of the brain." Children who are sad don't have a Prozac deficiency, they usually have a parent deficiency. Children who are jumpy are more likely to have a parsley deficit than a Paxil deficit.

When was the last time you saw a 10-year-old eat raw beets, apple, orange, pineapple, cranberry, peach, cherry, papaya, date, prune, kale, broccoli, cabbage... spinach, tomato, and pine bark all in one day?? When was the last time you saw a 12-year-old drink a glass of water? My 12-year-old son has eaten all 15 of these fruits and vegetables everyday for 8 years now and it has not seemed to hurt him. He has drank 2 large glasses of filtered water everyday also.

Please don't tell Human Services, they might bust me for McDonald's neglect.

I remember, about 40 years ago, sitting on the front porch with my Granpa, KO Manfull. We were eating peaches we had just picked off the tree. At age 87, he looked better than most people I know now at 47. Grandpa said, "Some people live to eat and others eat to live."
