GOVERNMENTAL
DRUGTRAFFICKING?
This list of resources on drug trafficking in the
United States is sufficiently extensive to raise the legitimate question:
IS THE GOVERNMENT OF THE
UNITED STATES DEALING IN ILLEGAL NARCOTICS?
There
was no extensive effort in compiling this list, which includes 24 books, 16
articles, 3 depositions, and 3 affidavits. I just kept adding sources as I came
across them in my general activities. I did not mount a search. So there
probably is additional information that
I did not come across that would add to the issue. Hopefully someone will feel
the urge to do a more comprehensive effort to gather such materials.
Because
I had contact several times with Chip Tatum and believe him credible, I
recommend that the article about him be the starting point for anyone’s effort
to understand the situation. See :
http://www.nexusmagazine.com/pegfile1.html
http://www.nexusmagazine.com/pegfile2.html
A careful look at these materials will
likely cause one to believe that the government is the biggest drugdealer in
America! Because we taxpayers spend
about $20 billion a year on the “WAR ON
DRUGS” and have lost many rights because of the “WAR”, this poses a rather ironic proposition – The government
that is fighting the WAR ON DRUGS is the biggest drug dealer?

"...What I'm talking about is something we found out in Burma - May 1987. We found it out from a man named Khun Sa. He is the recognized overlord of heroin in the world.
Last year he sent 900 tons of opiates and heroin into the free world. This year it will be 1200 tons.
On video tape he said to us something that was most astounding: that US government officials have been and are now his biggest customers, and have been for the last twenty years...."

Re: Senate Bill 255
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the Committee:
This letter is made in support of the above legislation now pending before your Senate involving establishment of the office of Inspector General for the state of Montana.
I am a retired career operative of a US intelligence agency. Since my retirement I have assisted several notable investigations involving corruption of US officials.
I have focused much of my attention on corruption relating to narcotics trafficking and money laundering.
It has come to my attention that a well known Helena, Montana politician is implicated in the narcotics traffic. It may be that the Montana criminal justice system including FBI and other federal employees are involved. I am prepared to offer sworn testimony and documentation to your Senate Committee or other legislative forum upon proper process and in due time.
Cordially,
[signed]

"[Louisiana] Senator [J. Bennett] Johnston firmly believed that when
the airplanes took these guys down to South America, the planes should not come
back empty. Instead they should come back with large quantities of cocaine for
CIA drug operations to fuel the NWO effort. That's when I learned the extent of
the ClA's involvement in the drug industry. I learned that the ClA's so-called
"war on drugs" is no more than the CIA eliminating the
competition."

"I really take great exception to the
fact that 1,000 kilos came in, funded by U.S. taxpayer money."
DEA official Anabelle Grimm, during a 1993
interview on a CBS-TV "60 Minutes" segment entitled "The CIA's
Cocaine." The 1991 CIA drug-smuggling event Ms. Grimm described was later
found to be much larger. A Florida grand jury and the Wall Street Journal reported it to involve as much as 22 tons.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++=
"The Subcommittee found that the Contra
drug links included:
·
Involvement in narcotics trafficking by individuals associated with the
Contra movement.
·
Participation of narcotics traffickers in Contra supply operations
through business relationships with Contra organizations.
·
Provision of assistance to the Contras by narcotics traffickers,
including cash, weapons, planes, pilots, air supply services and other
materials, on a voluntary basis by the traffickers.
·
Payments to drug traffickers by the U.S. State Department of funds
authorized by the Congress for humanitarian assistance to the Contras, in some
cases after the traffickers had been indicted by federal law enforcement
agencies on drug charges, in others while traffickers were under active
investigation by these same agencies."
Senate Committee Report on Drugs,
Law Enforcement and Foreign Policy
chaired by Senator John F. Kerry

"The connections piled up quickly.
Contra planes flew north to the U.S., loaded with cocaine, then returned laden
with cash. All under the protective umbrella of the United States Government.
My informants were perfectly placed: one worked with the Contra pilots at their
base, while another moved easily among the Salvadoran military officials who
protected the resupply operation. They fed me the names of Contra pilots. Again
and again, those names showed up in the DEA database as documented drug
traffickers.
"When I pursued the case, my superiors
quietly and firmly advised me to move on to other investigations."
Former DEA Agent Celerino Castillo
Powder Burns, 1992

I ask Dennis [Dayle,
former head of DEA's Centac], "If the following statement were made to
American citizens would you agree with it? 'Enormously powerful criminal
organizations are controlling many countries, and to a certain degree
controlling the world, and controlling our lives. Your own [U.S.] government to
some extent supports them, and is concealing this fact from you.'"
"I know
that to be true. That is not conjecture. Experience, over the better part of my
adult life, tells me that that is so. And there is a great deal of persuasive
evidence. But I also believe that what you just said can be dealt with very effectively.
You can contain drug trafficking by the immobilization of the few cartels who
truly control it. There must be conscious decisions, based on fact rather than
propaganda, at the grass-roots level of the global community, that the global
drug-trafficking situation should not be tolerated." — The Underground Empire,
p.1161.

" As an aside, we believed we were doing the
right thing, flying into Vietnam, transporting troops in and out. We
believed we were helping the poor Vietnamese rid themselves of the nasty
Communists. We didn't know then that the United States had no intention
of winning the war, that it didn't even, from a tactical standpoint, try.
We crew did not know that the involvement was all about dope, all about
the CIA running heroin into the USA in the gutted bodies of dead U.S.
servicemen. We carried those bodies to Travis Air Force Base in
northern California in the bellies of our airplanes. We were unwitting
"mules."

For American military intelligence, the Vietnam War, to a very large extent, was a drug war, and, just as in Cuba, we were the dealers. Oil and other mineral wealth, of course, played a major role, as did the great defense contractor boondoggle. The Vietnam War was worth $240 billion to defense contractors in overt appropriations, and at least another $300 billion in covert and indirect appropriations. The artificial value of the opium from Laos, Burma and Thailand became, therefore, a major factor in the Indochinese military equation - the means by which our clients could pay for our arms. Drug Prohibition has made the illegal drug trade the economic basis of military power - that is, the legitimate business of military intelligence - throughout much of the world.

The Real History of the Drug War

The record is clear. George Herbert Walker Bush stands guilty of crimes against the American people and crimes against humanity. During the 1980's he was the head of a vast criminal network that was responsible for unleashing death and destruction throughout the countries of South and Central America, flooding this country with illegal narcotics, turning our inner cities into virtual war zones, and destroying countless lives through the horrors of drug addiction.
The evidence we've presented also makes it clear that when our elected officials put their hands on the Bible and swear to uphold this country's Constitution, they have nothing but contempt for both - and the American people.
Justice delayed is justice denied. And in the case of George Herbert Walker Bush, justice has been denied far too long. The time has long since past when former President Bush should be tried for treason, put before a firing squad, and shot for this unforgivable betrayal of the public's trust.

CC: Why do the
United States governments, since Nixon and with the exception of Carter (to be
fair), invest so much in prohibition? Is there some economic, hegemonic, or
interventionist, interest that uses drugs as a smokescreen?
AG: During the 1960s, during the Nixon era, the priority was to
control the urban black community, in open rebellion after the assassination of
Martin Luther King. The Black Panthers and other radical organizations appeared
in the cities of the United States. A war was declared as a pretext to put
pressure on the cities. Nixon used the strategy, this is all documented, of
drugs. It was evil but also brilliant. He closed the Mexican border to
marijuana and his very same CIA brought the opium from Vietnam, inundating the
streets of black neighborhoods in the United States with heroin. With this
pretext, came the repression against a crime that the very same government created,
and, with this, they succeeded, it’s clear, in controlling the social
movements. Secondly, someone in Washington had another brilliant idea, although
it was also evil: This could be not just a pretext to control the poor of the
United States, but also could be used to control neighboring countries like
Mexico and all of Latin America, a great excuse to invade.

Excerpt from Trance Formation of America:
“…Houston stepped out of the dressing room to greet Clinton. "Hi,
Bud." Houston extended his hand. "I heard you made Governor."
"I hear you deliver a hell of a one liner, " Clinton replied,
cryptically referring to cocaine and NOT Houston's so-called comedy routine.
"I'm always aspiring to achieve new heights."
"Well, come on in," Houston invited. "I have enough (cocaine) to
put us all into orbit." I walked into the dressing room with them as
Houston was saying to Clinton, "I suppose there are no limits for you
since you're across the (state) line."
"What line?" Clinton feigned suprise and ignorance. He looked at Hal
Meadows as he continued, "You mean I've left that state of mine? In the state
of mind I'm in, there are no boundaries anyway." He walked over to the
table and snorted a line of cocaine. "I come here to get away from it all.
This kind of business is pleasure."
"So where's that young wife of yours?" Houston asked, referring to Hillary.
"She's with friends." Clinton sniffed the coke further up his nose.
"She's minding her own business. I'm just here to unwind, see the show,
maybe do a little hunting (referring to A MOST DANGEROUS GAME). I've got a bird
(helicopter) ready to fly me back when I'm through. Hey speaking of 'Byrd' (he
gestured my way) I hear she's moved up to the big house (White House)."
Referring to his friend and mentor Senator Byrd he asked, "So what's his
position now?"
"The same." Houston answered. "Probably like this..."
Houston pantomimed a lewd sodomy pose while everyone laughed. "He still
runs the show."
Clinton kept his eyes fixed on Houston's "caboose" and said "Why
don't you show her (referring to me) the way out and show me that again?"
If I could have thought at the moment, I would have realized Bill Clinton was /
is bisexual. My personal sexual experience with Clinton was limited, but I had
witnessed him engaged in homosexual activity during an orgy at Swiss Villa.
...Clinton added to what Houston said, talking in local colloquialisms.
"Bottom line is, we've got control of the (drug) industry, therefore,
we've got control of them (suppliers and buyers). You control the guy
underneath ya' and Uncle (Sam) has ya' covered. What have you got to lose? No
risk. No one's gonna hang ya' out to dry. And whatever spills off the truck as
it passes through (he laughed and snorted another line of coke) you get to
clean up….”
