Ray Fete With Community Services of Stark County

CANTON SOUTH, Ohio (July 15, 2010) -- Ray Fete with Community Services of Stark County gave Canton South Rotarians a good look at the tremendous effort that his organization is putting forth in the effort to help the disadvantaged, homeless, and others. Ray is the author of several books involving Myers Lake, the proceeds of which routinely goes toward keeping the doors open at the organization's Massillon homeless shelter.

Some of the services offered by CSSC include counseling, rape management counseling, anger management, case management, mental health, the homeless shelter, and more. The homeless shelter is one of the only truly family oriented facilities that allows male children 13 and over to remain intact with the family. Most shelters insist in placing male children age 13 years and up in foster care while the remainder of his family reside at the shelter. Fetes says that this is not so with Community Services of Stark County.

According to Fete, many of the donors who have historically helped his organization are now coming to CSSC for help as many have fallen on hard times. The organization is in need of donations because of difficult times. Visit their website at www.CommunityServicesOfStark.org. The organization has served this community since 1919.
